Premier League: has your club exceeded or fallen short of your expectations so far?

Club: Hull City

Realistic goal for the season: Survival

Every promoted club’s main goal is to stay up. For Hull City that remains the current objective despite the promising start to life back in the top flight. The Tigers currently sit eighth in the league having picked up 11 points from their opening fixtures – one more than title holders Manchester United!

Steve Bruce has brought in some good players to the side, most notably Tom Huddlestone, who has added real class to the midfield. However, as a fan of the club I know full well that two months down the line we could well be in a relegation scrap, so maintaining our status in the division must be the goal for this season.

A 17th placed finish would be seen as a success – anything else is a bonus.

Likelihood of survival: 7/10
