Premier League transfers: who is your club’s most disappointing signing?
Danny Graham has, without a doubt, been the biggest disappointment in terms of the players who joined the club this summer.
Signed on a season-long loan from Sunderland – where he had failed to find the net in his 13 appearances – people weren’t expecting a massive change in fortunes. However, fans were hoping that the change of scenery and style of play may allow the striker to rekindle his Swansea form which earned him the £5 million move to the Stadium of Light.
As it stands, Graham has played 10 games in all competitions for the Tigers and is yet to find the back of the net. That’s not for a lack of trying though and if it wasn’t for the heroics of Tim Krul in the Newcastle goal, then he would have scored. But the longer the goal drought continues, the bigger the burden on his shoulders.
